OUR STORY

It all started in 1988.

The CPC stores you know today haven't always been this way. The business model has evolved over the years to adapt to market realities. The company initially operated liquidation centers for nearly a decade before transforming into a family-oriented chain of stores.

Originally, the business concept relied solely on low prices. During the 2000s, the second generation of CPC stores emerged with a focus on EXPERIENCE, aiming to evolve the organization into a leading chain of uniquely characterized stores. Over time, the offering expanded, relying on well-known and reputable brands in both clothing and home decoration sectors, also enhancing the shopping experience.

In September 2018, the addition of a store in Victoriaville with a new up-to-date visual concept marked the beginning of the 3rd phase of evolution for CPC stores and brought a breath of fresh air to the brand. This opening with a new look was an indicator of a thoughtful strategy to revitalize the brand. But it was only the beginning of several major changes to come to contribute to the growth of the chain.

2024 will be a big year for CPC, which is implementing a significant transformation of its brand image while remaining true to its values. Several major projects are underway, including the exterior renovation of the Sherbrooke store, as well as launching the first phase of the online store. This will allow an increasingly wide range of consumers to enjoy the unique shopping experience of CPC stores, with the product offering expanding starting from the Fall-Winter 2024 season.
